What LEr means

The fire went out or never got going, so the grill stayed too cool and shut itself down. The threshold differs by model: 120°F on the Ranger, 125°F on the Silverton.

More detail
Traeger's Ranger manual (Error Codes, p.21) lists LEr "Low temperature": it occurs if the grill falls below 120°F (49°C) for 10 minutes, and the grill goes into shutdown mode. The Silverton manual (p.13) gives a different threshold: below 125°F / 51.7°C, as read by the RTD temperature sensor, for 10 minutes; the controller then turns off power to the internal components until you turn off the main power switch.
