About these codes
AquaRite problems show in two places: the indicator LEDs on the front panel (Power, Generating, No Flow, Check Salt, High Salt, Inspect Cell) and the LCD, which normally shows the average salt level. Whether a light is flashing or steady matters. For example, Check Salt flashing means salt is low (below 2700 ppm) and output is reduced; steady means salt is too low and the AquaRite has shut down.
Pushing the small Diagnostic button next to the LCD steps through pool temperature, cell voltage, cell current, desired output, instant salinity, software revision and cell type. For several lights, Hayward's first check is that the correct TurboCell model is selected.
Safety: Electrical equipment. Hayward: hazardous voltage can shock, burn, cause serious injury and/or death. Only qualified technicians should remove the panel, and damaged wiring should be replaced immediately.
If "-Pcb-" is displayed with all four red/yellow LEDs lit, Hayward says a possible circuit board fault has been detected: call for service. Before adding large amounts of salt, Hayward advises having the salt level professionally checked.
